Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely created molds, which are available only to the Merck Family''s Old World Christmas, before being hand-painted and finished. Each Merck Family''s Old World Christmas ornament is authentically created with the same techniques originated in the 1800''s. No longer made in Germany the Old World ornament collection continues their tradition of high quality but now have wonderful value due to much lower prices.
